At Los Willows, we’ve had several different types of ethnic weddings here on the property, Indian, African, and Jewish to name a few.
There are many different Indian religions, each with their own cultures and traditions:
Jumping the Broom has become one of the most popular African traditions at weddings.
There are many different Jewish wedding traditions, such as but not limited to: Bedeken, Ketuubah Signing, Breaking the Glass, The Walk to the Chuppah, Vows under the Chuppah, Circling, Sheva B’rachot: Seven Blessings, Mazel Tov! & Yichud.
A gift table is a necessary part of any wedding décor — after all, guests have traveled near and far to celebrate your big day, and most will come baring a congratulatory card or present. Creating a designated area for your friends and family to leave their gifts is important, a small table near your table assignments (with a receptacle for cards and space for any tangible gifts) will do the trick, but consider an out-of-the-box idea like the one below for a more creative take on the necessity.

In this day and age where there’s dessert buffets, smore’s bars, churro stations and any other confectionery items you can think of, there’s nothing more classic or traditional than a 3 tiered cake. Add some gorgeous florals or a fun cake topper and voila, a beautiful display for your guests!
Décor has the power to set the tone for your entire wedding, centerpieces are just one part of the equation. Linens, colored glassware, plates, candles, water carafes and other personal touches all work together to create a harmonious tabletop design. These springtime settings—with airy fabrics, pastel palettes will liven up your wedding reception tables.
Included in our packages at Los Willows, you may choose to enjoy our Just Married Champagne Boat Cruise right after your ceremony to take a moment as husband & wife, with your wedding party sending you off. Or, as an upgrade, you might like to take our late night, newlywed grand departure cruise taking advantage of our colorful lights on the boat and a big marquee sign with dazzling sparkles that say “Just Married”. Either one is a great way to take a special moment for yourselves and say I Love You! When you schedule your first meeting with your wedding planner, they’d be able to answer any questions you may have regarding this relaxing treat.
